Do I need to be a certified yoga teacher to take the 200hr or 300hr advanced training?
No, absolutely not! Mantra is for everyone, regardless if you practice or teach yoga.
can i take the trainings online?
Yes! We have options for either in-person or online trainings. The online option is wonderful for international students or those who cannot travel to the training site monthly.
Do I need to be present for all of the training sessions?
It is recommended to attend all training sessions Live for the full benefit. Time zone schedules can conflict with full attendance, exemptions apply.
Are there recordings I can listen to of the training sessions?
Yes! You will receive audio recordings and images of all the training sessions for your convenience.
do i have to attend the retreats included in the trainings?
Yes. The retreats included are vital components to our trainings as we gather in community for review, practice teaches, private mentorship, testing, and graduation ceremony. You can attend in-person or virtually to take the final tests and be certified.
Is The Yoga Space School certified under Yoga Alliance?
Yes. After successfully completing the 200hr Mantra Teacher Trainings under The Yoga Space School, you may apply for registration with Yoga Alliance as an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). This verifies that your training and teaching experience meets their requirements and you'll be able to offer your teachings worldwide! The 300hr Advanced Training is not Yoga Alliance certified at this time.
Is it necessary to be familiar with Namadeva Acharya's teachings or have a specific spiritual background?
No. The teachings in these trainings are for everyone. You do not need to have any previous experience with yoga or mantra for the 200hr training or have any specific spiritual belief to fully receive the benefits. To qualify for the 300hr advanced training, you’d need to be a graduate of our 200hr training or a graduate of another 200hr training with basic understanding and experience with mantra.
what is the difference between the 200hr mantra teacher training and the 300hr advanced mantra teacher training?
The 200hr training covers the basics in history, philosophy, mantra energetics, pronunciation, mantra application and teaching skills. The 300hr advanced training focuses on continued and more refined mantra energetics, advanced teaching methods, reading of scriptures and advanced spiritual disciplines.
do i need to take the 200hr training before the 300hr training?
In most cases, yes. The 300hr advanced training is a sequel to our 200hr training. However, if you are already well-versed in mantra or have an existing 200hr certification from a different school, you may be eligible for our 300hr advanced training. If this is the case, the application process will be different. Please email us for details!
IS THE CONTENT FOR THE 200hr-8 MONTH traininga AND the 21-DAY IMMERSION IN COSTA RICA THE SAME?
Yes. The material covered is the same, just offered in different formats.
DO WE HAVE DAYS OFF DURING THE 21-DAY IMMERSION training IN COSTA RICA?
Yes. We have 3 full days off, plus most evenings, to help integrate the teachings, relax & rejuvenate, enjoy Blue Spirit's spa/beach/pool or to explore local adventures!
do I have to teach mantra related practices after I graduate?
No. Although many students continue the practices and spread the mantra teachings in yoga classes, bodywork sessions, kirtans, prisons, schools, recovery centers and more, there are many who take the trainings primarily as a personal study immersion for healing and deep transformation.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we do! Depending on which training and its location, we offer many different payment plan options. Please email us for more information.
IS GRANT MONEY AVAILABLE?
Yes! If you are a resident in the the state of Vermont, you may be eligible to receive full funding for our training! Please visit VSAC (Vermont Student Assistance Corporation) here to apply.
Is this training tax deductible?
Yes it is. This training is considered an Education Expense and is tax deductible in the U.S. You may visit www.irs.gov to view the qualifications and the instructions for Education Credit, Form 8863.
Can I take the trainings more than once?
Yes. As a Certified Mantra Teacher you have the option to audit additional trainings at a reduced rate.
Is there a way to stay connected to Raji and the other Certified Mantra Teachers after I graduate?
Yes! There are many ways to continue your relationship with other mantra graduates and mantra practices. We offer a group page on Facebook, group emails and the opportunity to be part of the Stay Connected Annual Membership which contains a seasonal newsletter and discounts on Mantra Workshops, Disciplines, Retreats and Private Consultations with Rajeshwari.
