Yoga classes with Raji incorporate her 30+ years of knowledge as a yoga teacher in Asana (yoga poses), Mantra (chant), Dhyana (meditation), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Deep Relaxation. Yoga is an ancient practice that combines physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation to improve the mind, body, and breath. The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit word yuj, which means "to join" or "to unite". Yoga's origins can be traced back to northern India over 5,000 years ago.

A gentle start to your week consisting of a centering, warm-ups and yoga postures to increase flexibility and core strength, and a deep peaceful relaxation. We begin and end class with the addition of Sanskrit mantra, pranayama and basic meditation. Suitable for all levels of practitioners. 75 min.
